I am pleased to advise the appointment of a new Government Actuary. David Benison commences as Government Actuary today.
David is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of London and a Fellow of the New Zealand Society of Actuaries. David has extensive background in insurance and superannuation in New Zealand, the United Kingdom and France.
The Ministry acknowledges and appreciates the work done by John Melville during his period as Government Actuary.
